All applicants are required to hold a tertiary qualification in engineering, science or Masters in Design Science.Acoustic Works Pty Ltd provides consulting advice to clients including town planners, developers, builders, architects, project managers and others to address noise emissions from developments and also internal noise within developments.
The key focuses are improving environmental outcomes, reducing noise impacts and improving acoustic amenity.Applicants must demonstrate a practical approach to problem solving, sound skills in report writing with good communication and presentation.
Training will be provided to promote career growth and experience, with salary determined based on the competency of the successful applicant.Job requirements include:Demonstrate a high standard of competency in communication, including reading and writingExperience with site work,



road traffic and environmental noise assessmentsExposure to building acoustics or be willing to learnExposure to Soundplan or willing to learnHold a current Australian driver's licenseWilling to occasionally work outside of normal work hours as may be required on certain projectsWork with senior staff for direction and instruction as necessary to improve your knowledgeProficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel and WordThe ideal candidate would demonstrate the following attributes;Good communicationAbility to multitaskUse of logic and reasoningApplication to tasksSelf-motivatedCommitment to work with good time managementMust be Australian CitizenEmployee benefitsFirst review within 6 months of commencement with annual reviews thereafter.Work life balanceThe successful applicant will undergo growth opportunities training to achieve a high professional standard.
