Working outdoors as part of a supportive team, you'll carry out routine and reactive maintenance, assist with seasonal turf programs and help prepare fields for training, games and events.
Thison‐the‐ground role isperfect for someone who enjoys practical work, teamwork and seeing the results of their efforts every day.What you'll be doingMaintaining sports fields and surrounds through routine and reactive maintenanceAssisting with seasonal turf programs, line marking and event preparationSafely operating and maintaining plant, equipment and toolsIdentifying and reporting hazards, defects or safety issuesProviding qualified, friendly service to clubs, colleagues and the communityWhat you'll need to succeedCertificate 3 in Sports Turf Management, Horticulture or extensive practical experienceExperience in sports field, parks, grounds or open space maintenanceAbility to safely operate mowers, tractors, small plant and toolsSound understanding of workplace health and safety practicesGood communication skills and a team focused,
