This hands-on role involves locating underground utilities, performing non-destructive excavation (NDD) and potholing works, and supporting civil and construction projects to ensure safe excavation practices.Key ResponsibilitiesLocate and identify underground services including water, gas, electricity, telecommunications, and sewer infrastructure.Conduct potholing and vacuum excavation activities using hydro excavation equipment.Read and interpret utility plans, drawings, and service maps.Mark out underground services accurately and in accordance with industry standards.Prepare service location reports and site documentation.Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections.Maintain a strong commitment to workplace health and safety procedures.Liaise professionally with clients,



contractors, and site personnel.Skills & ExperiencePrevious experience in service locating, utility locating, potholing, vacuum excavation, or civil construction preferred.Knowledge of underground utility networks and asset identification.Ability to read and interpret construction plans and utility drawings.Solid attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Good communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.White Card (essential).
Current driver's licence (essential).
