Experienced Fashion Designer – 6 MONTH CONTRACT.
Based in Geelong with offices throughout Australasia, Stage II is a energetic and fast-growing fashion company behind some of Australia's leading brands.
We are seeking an experienced and highly creative, passionate Fashion Designer to join our team on a 6-month contract, full time hours.
This exciting opportunity is ideal for a talented designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of current fashion trends, commercial product development and the end‐to‐end design process.
Key Accountabilities
Construct a commercially balanced range which offers the right mix of print, plain, and colour and present in CAD form
Analyse & have a comprehensive understanding of category history applying this to the range
Evaluate range performance by assessing weekly sales reports and attending monthly reviews, taking learnings into future ranges
Comprehensive knowledge of local and overseas market trends through various mediums




Analyse relevance of trends for brand and plan reaction accordingly
Complete thorough style tech packs, outlining garment specifications for PD team
Work with Product Developer to ensure best fit, consistency of fit and best possible quality of fabric, trim, make and finish
Be aware of production progress against critical path ensuring key dates are met by the team
Attend range reviews and contribute innovative ideas.
Skills and Experience
Minimum 5 years industry experience
Excellent in Adobe Creative Suite
Tertiary qualification in fashion design or relevant
Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment
A creative and collaborative approach to the role
Free On‐Site Parking
