This role is suited to a highly capable improvement qualified who thrives on solving complex operational challenges, building capability and delivering sustainable business outcomes.Working closely with site leaders, frontline employees and the Senior Management Team, you will lead the implementation and continual improvement of the Centennial Management Operating System (C-MOS), ensuring site management systems support operational discipline, performance improvement and long-term success.At Centennial, we invest in your success by providing ongoing training, career development and opportunities to shape the future of our operations.Reporting to the Mine Manager, your role will be responsible forDeveloping and maintaining the site's Business Improvement Plan, including annual objectives, quarterly priorities and performance measuresLeading the identification, prioritisation, delivery and sustainment of business improvement initiatives that improve productivity, reduce waste and deliver business objectivesManaging the site's business improvement initiative pipeline and ensuring alignment with site and corporate prioritiesLeading the implementation and continual improvement of the Centennial Management Operating System (C-MOS) in alignment with the Group operating modelMaintaining governance frameworks, operating cadences and management systems that support accountability,



operational discipline and performanceIdentifying opportunities to improve operational performance through digital technologies, automation and AI-enabled solutionsFacilitating structured problem-solving workshops to resolve operational challenges and implement sustainable improvementsCoaching, mentoring and developing leaders and frontline teams in business improvement methodologies and continuous improvement practicesMonitoring initiative performance, benefits realisation and reporting progress against business improvement objectivesEnsuring compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, legislative and corporate requirements while promoting Centennial policies and standardised work practicesSuitable candidates will haveDemonstrated ability to influence leaders and drive change across all levels of an organisationStrong understanding of lean / continuous improvement principles, methodologies and their practical applicationExperience leading complex improvement initiatives and organisational changeProven experience facilitating structured problem-solving workshopsStrong coaching, training and facilitation skillsExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights effectivelyExperience in mining, heavy industry, manufacturing, or other operational environmentsExperience with Management Operating Systems and their practical applicationExperience with digital technologies, automation and AI-enabled business improvement solutionsAbout CentennialCentennial Coal Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Asia's largest independent Energy Group, Banpu Public Company Limited.We employ over 1,600 highly skilled employees across our operations and are New South Wales leading supplier of coal-fired energy.
