Membrey's Transport and Crane Hire operates a fleet of over 180 heavy vehicles, trailers, cranes and access equipment.
We're looking for someone with operations experience to join our Operations team and help take the business to new levels of efficiency.
With safety and compliance at the heart of everything we do, no two days are ever the same and you'll be constantly learning.You'll work as part of a close-knit, experienced team, sharing the workload and bringing your operations know-how to a role with a solid focus on safety, compliance and getting the paperwork right.The successful applicant will:have experience in an operations role, ideally within transport or logisticshave a genuine focus on health and safetyhave excellent attention to detail and strong administration skillsbe computer literate and confident with records and documentationhave an excellent phone mannerbuild good working relationships with drivers,



subcontractors and customerswork well autonomously and as part of a teamhave excellent problem-solving skillsPreferred but not essential:an understanding of Chain of Responsibility (COR) obligationsknowledge of NHVR requirements and heavy vehicle permitsThe tasks required are:answering phone queries and liaising with driverspreparing quotes and checking subcontractor invoicessupporting the allocation of fleet and driversassisting with the planning of country and interstate loadssupporting health and safety systems, records and reportingmanaging Chain of Responsibility (COR) obligationsassisting with heavy vehicle permits and NHVR requirementsmaintaining compliance and driver records across the fleetother general administration duties as requiredA strong focus on health, safety and compliance is central to this role.
An understanding of Chain of Responsibility, NHVR requirements and heavy vehicle permits would be a real advantage.Immediate start availble for the right applicant.
