About the Role:Working closely with Partners and senior team members,
you will manage a varied client portfolio while delivering high-quality taxation and business advisory services.Your responsibilities will include:Preparation of financial statements (year end and interim) and tax returnsPreparation of monthly and quarterly BAS' and IAS'Liaise with clients re: missing information and queries etcReconciliation of Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks and other softwareReport to Partners for review, queries and progress on clientsResearch on tax-related issues and provide advice to clientsAd-hoc jobs as requiredAbout You:To be successful, you will have:5+ years' experience within an Australian public practice accounting firmExperienced with tax, accounting and business mattersStrong knowledge of Australian taxation legislationCA or CPA qualified (or currently studying towards completion)Experience preparing financial statements and tax returnsExcellent communication and client relationship skillsStrong attention to detail with excellent organisational skillsThe ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.Proactive and innovativeFlexible and adaptable approachHave confidentiality and discretionSolid work ethicWell presentedPunctual and reliableTechnically minded and computer savvyExperience using Xero, MYOB and other cloud-based accounting software will be highly regarded.Live local to the Mornington Peninsula or surrounding areasDays:Monday to FridayHours:9am – 5pm
