The Field Technical Specialist will provide hands‐on clinical and technical support to healthcare professionals across NSW and ACT.

The Field Technical Specialist will provide hands‐on clinical and technical support to healthcare professionals across NSW and ACT.
The technical specialist will support device implant procedures, follow‐up with clinics, troubleshooting activities and educational programs, while maintaining robust customer relationships throughout the territory.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDEProvide technical support during pacemaker, ICD, CRT and leadless device implantation proceduresSupport post-operative follow-up clinics and device optimisation activitiesTroubleshoot device‐related issues and provide clinical guidance to healthcare professionalsDeliver product training and education programs to clinicians and hospital staffMaintain advanced knowledge of Abbott's Cardiac Rhythm Management portfolioPartner with Territory Managers to support customer needs and territory objectivesAssist with product launches and market development initiativesGather and communicate customer feedback, market intelligence and competitor activityEnsure all administrative, reporting and compliance requirements are completed accurately and on timeAttend internal product and clinical training programs, including certification requirementsParticipate in the on‐call roster associated with the roleBuild and maintain strong clinical relationships across hospitals and healthcare networks throughout NSW and ACTSKILLS & EXPERIENCETertiary qualification in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Science, Nursing, Cardiac Technology or a related disciplineMinimum 2 years' experience working with Cardiac Rhythm Management productsExperience supporting pacemaker, ICD and CRT implant proceduresStrong clinical troubleshooting and customer engagement skillsAbility to work autonomously within a field‐based environmentWillingness to travel across NSW and ACT, with occasional interstate travel as requiredAbility to participate in an on‐call rosterBENEFITSOpportunity to join a globally recognised medical device organisationExposure to innovative cardiac rhythm management technologiesWork closely with leading cardiologists and electrophysiologistsComprehensive training and professional development opportunitiesDiverse and rewarding field‐based clinical support role
