This is an excellent opportunity to work flexible agency shifts across leading healthcare facilities in Melbourne, whilst earning competitive rates of up to $150 per hour.
Based in South Melbourne, VIC ****, this role offers the flexibility to balance your professional commitments with your personal life, working on shifts that suit your availability.What you'll be doingProviding high-quality direct patient care in intensive care and critical care environmentsMonitoring and assessing patient vital signs, clinical status, and responses to treatment protocolsAdministering medications, wound care, and therapeutic interventions as prescribedCollaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualised care plansMaintaining comprehensive and accurate patient records and documentationOperating and troubleshooting specialised medical equipment and monitoring systemsSupporting patients and their families through critical illness with compassionate communicationAdhering to all infection control protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirementsResponding promptly to patient needs and clinical emergenciesContributing to a positive and supportive ward environmentWhat we're looking forCurrent nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)Proven experience working in critical care, intensive care unit (ICU),



or acute care environmentsStrong clinical knowledge of critical care nursing principles and evidence-based practiceCompetency in monitoring and interpreting patient vital signs and clinical indicatorsExperience with medical devices and equipment commonly used in ICU and critical care settingsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and healthcare professionalsAbility to work independently whilst functioning effectively as part of a multidisciplinary teamStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple patients and complex care needsCommitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and infection controlFlexibility to work various shift patterns, including nights, weekends, and public holidaysCurrent immunisations as required by employing organisationsWorking with Children Check and National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)What we offerGreenstaff Medical is committed to supporting our healthcare professionals with a range of attractive perks.We provide competitive pay rates of up to $150 per hour,
