Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer seeking a motivated and reliable Production Support Operator to join their production team on a full-time permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience who enjoys working in a hands-on environment where quality, teamwork and safety are valued.
About the Role
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the production process through a variety of tasks including material preparation, assembly and product finishing.
This is a diverse role where no two days are the same, and you'll play an important part in ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Cut materials accurately to specifications
Prepare materials for production
Assemble and kit products
Perform product assembly using a variety of tools and equipment
Complete product finishing tasks including cleaning and packaging
Work to production schedules while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Assist across different areas of production as required
Contribute ideas for continuous process improvements
Participate in ongoing training and development
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
A strong commitment to workplace safety
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team




Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Good communication skills
A willingness to learn new tasks and production processes
Desirable Skills
Experience operating production machinery such as saws, presses, punches or wrapping machines
Experience using hand and power tools
General assembly or fabrication experience
Strong manual handling skills
