About the Role
As a Civil Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of pipeline installation projects from commencement through to completion.
You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, plant and materials, ensure compliance with project specifications, and maintain the highest standards of safety, quality and productivity.
This role requires someone who understands civil pipeline installation, can confidently manage multiple work fronts, and takes pride in delivering exceptional outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of projects from start to finish.
Supervise the installation of water, sewer, stormwater and associated underground services.
Coordinate daily construction activities, labour, plant, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Read and interpret drawings, service plans, and project specifications.
Ensure projects is completed to specification.
Plan works to maximise productivity while maintaining quality and safety.
Identify construction risks and implement practical solutions.
Conduct daily pre-starts and maintain a strong safety culture.
Complete site documentation including daily diaries, quality records, ITPs, and project reporting.
Liaise professionally with Project Managers, engineers, clients, inspectors,



and authorities.
Mentor Leading Hands and site crews to achieve high performance.
About You
You are an experienced Civil Supervisor with a strong background in civil pipeline construction.
You understand that great projects come from planning ahead, communicating clearly, and leading by example.
You are confident making decisions, hold yourself accountable, and aren't afraid to step in and help your team when required.
You'll also bring:
Extensive experience supervising pipeline installation projects.
Strong knowledge of water, sewer, and stormwater construction.
Experience managing excavation works around existing services.
The ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
A proactive approach to safety and risk management.
Solid communication and client relationship skills.
A commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.
Essential Qualification
Current White Card.
Current Australian Driver Licence.
Strong knowledge of civil construction practices and WHS legislation.
Ability to read plans and manage construction to specification.
Desirable
Certificate IV in Civil Construction or equivalent.
First Aid Certificate.
Confined Space.
Experience working on local government and Tier 1 infrastructure projects.
