What you can expect to be doing day-to-day:
Customer Experience:
Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for every customer and ensure their visit to the showroom feels both enjoyable and worthwhile.
Most interactions will be face-to-face in the showroom, with some enquiries by phone or email.
You'll take the time to engage with customers, listen carefully to their needs, and guide them through our range of products.
By building genuine trust, asking the right questions, and explaining how our furniture suits their needs, you'll help customers feel confident and excited about their purchase decisions.
Styling Advice & Showroom Merchandising:
Our collection is rapidly expanding across complementary furniture and homewares.
We are looking for someone with a strong eye for interiors who can confidently guide customers through our growing range,



help them bring their ideas together and create a cohesive look throughout their home.
You will also use your styling expertise to work with the team in curating and refreshing showroom displays, highlighting how different pieces, finishes and collections can work beautifully together.
Showroom Presentation:
Maintain a clean, organised, and inviting showroom that inspires customers and makes it easy to explore.
Order Processing:
Handle the end-to-end process of customer orders, including checking stock availability, processing transactions, and ensuring all order details are recorded accurately.
Input into Product & Collection Development:
Our range is constantly evolving in response to changing trends, seasons and customer preferences.
In this role, you will have genuine input into the products we introduce, the development of our own collections and how they are styled and presented in-store.
Your ideas and expertise will help shape the future direction of the Marc & Main range.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
MUST
HAVE
Experience
in interiors, furniture, homewares or a related field, along with experience in retail sales, hospitality or another customer-facing role.
A qualification in interior design, styling or a related discipline would be preferred.
Genuine
passion
for furniture or interiors.
A people's person
, with a positive attitude.
Must be able to work
Saturdays
11am-4pm.
Have
unrestricted working rights
in Australia and availability for long-term employment.
