House Keeping - Casual Cleaner - Capricorn Adventist Retirement Village
Capricorn Adventist Retirement Village is seeking an experienced, reliable, and motivated Casual House Keeper (Cleaner) to join our team.
This position involves providing high-quality cleaning services across our retirement village, including pre builder cleans, bond cleaning of units and general cleaning of the Common areas including the Community Centre.
The successful applicant will take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming setting for our residents and visitors.

Adventist Retirement Plus has a longstanding fifty-year history in providing retirement living accommodation and aged care services across several retirement communities in South Queensland.
Previously known as Capricorn Adventist Retirement Village, we are a not-for-profit organisation that remains committed to excellence in care and services provision for the elderly.
With consistent growth and reinvestment, we are continuing to refine and redefine our services to keep pace with the needs of residents and changing needs of the industry.
Key Responsibilities
General cleaning of Community Centre and common areas
Bond cleaning of vacated units to a high standard
Vacuuming,



mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
Safe handling and storage of cleaning products and equipment
Reporting maintenance or safety concerns as identified
Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times
Working collaboratively with village staff while also managing tasks independently
Flexibility to attend monthly team meetings
Previous cleaning experience, including bond cleaning
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong commitment to Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S;)
Good communication and organisational skills
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Current Driver's Licence
Reliable vehicle and willingness to use own car for work-related travel between village locations if required
Australian Citizenship / Australian Residency must have legal right to work in Australia.
Consent to a criminal record check (police check).
Attend a functional assessment.
