Additionally, you'll:Lead the implementation and continual improvement of SHEQ systems, policies and programs nationallyManage investigations into incidents and non-conformances,



driving corrective and preventative actionsProvide expert guidance to operational leaders on safety, environmental and quality mattersOversee audits, risk assessments, compliance activities and governance reportingDrive SHEQ initiatives that enhance workforce wellbeing, operational performance and cultureLead, mentor and develop a team of SHEQ professionals across multiple locationsWhat we're looking forTertiary qualification in Workplace Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Quality or a related disciplineExtensive experience in a senior SHEQ leadership role within a complex operational environmentStrong experience leading investigations, risk management and compliance programsLead Auditor qualifications and experience with ISO management systemsDemonstrated people leadership experience with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levelsAustralian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security ClearanceAbout VentiaAs a leading services provider, we maintain, operate, and manage the essential infrastructure that makes modern life possible across Australia and Current Zealand.
