Workfast is seeking an experienced Mechanical Tradesperson / Fitter to join the site team for Australia's largest integrated import and export logistics provider at the Newcastle Agri Terminal.Pay Rate: $***** p/hr + Overtime + SuperLocation: Carrington (Newcastle), NSWHours: Rostered Monday to Friday, 40-hour week + weekend OT opportunitiesStart Date: ASAPThis is a long-term prospect working within a busy grain and materials handling environment, performing mechanical maintenance, installation, and fault-finding on heavy industrial equipment and conveyor systems.What You Will Be DoingPerforming routine, preventative, and breakdown mechanical maintenance on fixed plant machineryExecuting industrial installations, fault-finding, and repairs safely and efficientlyWorking on conveyor belt systems, grain handling gear, and associated mechanical equipmentEnsuring strict adherence to site safety protocols, including awareness of electrical equipment in hazardous areasWorking both independently and collaboratively within an experienced site teamWhat You NeedMechanical Fitter trade qualification (Recognised Australian qualification)Proven experience in heavy industry, industrial installation,
