You will provide both financial and operational support, ensuring project performance is tracked, understood, and optimised—while maintaining compliance with WSP standards and systems.What You'll DoYou'll work across a portfolio of projects, taking ownership of key project finance activities, including:Monitor project costs, revenue recognition, and overall financial performanceManage the full project accounting lifecycle in ERP—from budgets to invoicing and close-outPartner with Project Managers on budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision-makingSupport subcontractor set-up, procurement processes, and invoice validationOversee project billing and follow up on accounts receivable and paymentsIdentify risks, investigate variances,
and escalat or resolve issues earlyInterpret contract and commercial terms to ensure correct financial treatmentContribute to clear communication of project financials to both financial and non-financial stakeholdersProduce regular financial reports and insights to support project outcomesSuccess in This RoleYou will combine strong technical capability with the ability to influence and partner effectively with project teams.
You will:Maintain solid attention to detail across financial data and reportingAnalyse and explain project financial performance clearlyWork proactively to minimise financial risk and improve project outcomesBuild trusted relationships across Finance, Commercial, and Project teamsAbout YouYou will bring:2+ years' experience in Project Finance or similar, with exposure to ERP systemsSolid understanding of project accounting principles and practicesStrong Excel capability (including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis)Analytical thinking and sound judgement in financial decision-makingClear communication skills, with the ability to engage both financial and non-financial stakeholdersA proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesA relevant tertiary qualification (Commerce, Accounting, Finance or similar) is desirable.Why WSP?
