We have RN roles across our acute surgical and acute medical wards to consolidate your current experience or the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a new area of nursing.About usLocated in Wantirna, Knox Private Hospital is a fully accredited tertiary facility with 334 beds, providing Emergency Services, Extensive Surgical Specialities, ICU, CCU, Medical, and a full range of Cardiac Services including two 24-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories.Our theatre complex comprises of 15 theatres including both a Day Procedure Centre and a Hybrid Theatre supporting a range of acute specialties including General, Endoscopy, Colorectal, Bariatric & Liver surgery, advanced laparoscopic procedures, Cardiac, Neuro, Orthopaedic, Plastic & Reconstructive surgery, Gynaecology, Urology, Vascular, ENT & Paediatric surgeryAs a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:Deliver exceptional, safe, researched-based standards of nursing care to our patientsWork collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needsAct as a role model for Safe PracticeDeliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recoveryProvide support and guidance to our graduate and undergraduate nursing staff.Authority to Work in AustraliaWorking with Children check (if relevant)Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalentCurrent Registration (no restriction)
with AHPRA with a minimum 2years' experienceDemonstrated experience in a surgical environment advantageousCompliance with ACQSHC National standardsClinicalexpertiseand commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvementSelf-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning teamHighly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focusedFlexibility to work a 24/7 rosterWhy Healthscope?
