Sales Manager - Lead from the Front -Commercial Projects

A1 Precision Solutions is a growing Australian business delivering end-to-end commercial solutions across warehouse fit-outs, pallet racking, office fit-outs, commercial refurbishments, relocations and industrial building projects.
We're looking for an experienced and driven Sales Manager who leads by example.
This is a genuine hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for growing the business while leading and developing a high-performing sales team.
You'll continue to build your own portfolio of clients and projects, while coaching, mentoring and supporting the sales team to achieve outstanding results.
Working closely with the General Manager, Directors and Operations team, you'll help shape sales strategy, improve performance and ensure our customers receive exceptional service from first enquiry through to project completion.

About the Role
As Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for both leading the sales function and actively generating new business.
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead, coach and develop the sales team to achieve individual and team performance targets.
Drive a high-performance, customer-focused sales culture.
Set sales priorities, monitor KPIs and provide regular coaching and feedback.
Assist with recruitment, onboarding and development of new sales team members.




Work closely with the General Manager to develop and execute sales strategies that support business growth.
Monitor pipeline activity, forecasting and overall sales performance.
Business Development
Personally identify and secure new business opportunities.
Build strong relationships with developers, builders, warehouse operators, logistics businesses, manufacturers, facility managers and commercial property stakeholders.
Attend client meetings, networking events and site inspections.
Generate opportunities through referrals, existing relationships, prospecting and strategic networking.
Customer & Commercial Management
Prepare quotations, proposals and tender submissions.
Negotiate commercial agreements and close profitable opportunities.
Manage key customer accounts and foster long-term partnerships.
Ensure quotations meet margin expectations and commercial objectives.
Work with estimating and operations teams to deliver accurate, competitive solutions.
Project Delivery
Ensure a seamless transition from sales to operations.
Maintain customer relationships throughout project delivery.
Support project teams in resolving customer issues, variations and identifying further opportunities.




About You
You'll be a commercially focused sales leader who enjoys balancing leadership with hands-on selling.
You'll bring:
Proven experience leading and motivating a successful B2B sales team.
A strong track record of personally achieving sales and revenue targets.
Experience in construction, warehousing, manufacturing, logistics, fit-outs, industrial projects or related industries.
Outstanding relationship-building and negotiation skills.
Strong commercial and financial acumen.
The ability to read plans and understand project documentation.
Experience preparing quotations, tenders and proposals.
Confidence leading from the front and mentoring others.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
