We are seeking someone who is proactive, customer-focused, and enjoys working in a dynamic environment.As a Community Safety Administration Officer, you will report to the Team Leader Amenity Protection and work collaboratively within a small administration team, to deliver high-quality administrative support across a diverse range of functions serviced by Amenity Protection.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide a general administrative function and support to Amenity Protection including word processing, data entry, telephone enquiries, filing,
and photocopying.Take appropriate action in response to enquiries in a timely and efficient manner having regard to Council's policies and procedures.Processing and recording of compliance notices and letters, infringements and permits.Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion in the handling of a wide range of information and projects.This position will require some out of hour's work (take calls to arrange replacement school crossing supervisors).
About youTo be successful in this role you will have the following:Completion of a post-trade certificate in Administration or other post-secondary qualification below a diploma or degree, or knowledge and skills gained through on-the-job training.Experience in a regulatory environment would be a distinct advantage.Demonstrated ability to prioritise and perform a variety of administration tasks to a high level with attention to detail with variable work demands.Relevant experience in administration and/or customer service environment.Culture and ValuesOur vision for our community is to be:"A vibrant, secure and liveable city accessible to all" and that means there's a place here for you too.Our organisational values represent us as an established growth Council and the values are reflected in everything we do; our decision-making, our actions and our service provision to the community.
