They're now looking for a Solution Architect to help steer the technical direction of the program, working alongside enterprise architects, senior business stakeholders and delivery partners.This is a genuinely broad architecture mandate, covering everything from early-stage strategy and roadmap definition through to hands‐on design work and delivery oversight.ResponsibilitiesYou'll take ownership of the solution architecture across the FSM program, which means:Setting DirectionDefining the target‐state architecture, along with the roadmap, design principles and technical standards that will get the program thereBuilding out architecture strategy and implementation methodology in collaboration with enterprise architecture and digital leadershipDesigning the SolutionTurning business and technical requirements into designs that are scalable, secure and genuinely fit for purposeProducing the full suite of architecture documentation, functional, non‐functional and technical,



including whitepapers and design specsWorking through how new capability will integrate with existing enterprise and legacy systems without compromising governance or security postureDelivering and EmbeddingStaying closely involved through planning, blueprint, build and delivery, not just the upfront design phasePartnering with System Integrators, digital teams and business leads to keep architecture outcomes on trackFeeding into design reviews, governance forums and broader architecture best practiceCoaching delivery teams along the way and keeping the focus on real operational and user experience improvementsExperience & Skills Required10+ years working as a Solution or Enterprise Architect on complex transformation programs, ideally within utilities or other asset‐intensive environmentsGenuine depth in Field Service Management platforms, IFS FSM Cloud experience would be idealStrong SAP ecosystem exposure across FI/CO, PM, MM, PS, IS‐U, BW, SAP BTP, Integration Suite, GRC and UXComfortable operating across both Agile and Waterfall delivery modelsSolid foundations in cloud architecture, application design, integration and data managementA background that spans system design, migration, configuration and enterprise integration workThe stakeholder management skills to work credibly with executives, technical teams and SI partners alike
