About the roleAllboard Distributors are looking for a machine operator to operate a beam saw and an edge banding machine for the cabinet making industry, and also assist in store person duties as required, at our Hallam branch.Allboard Distributors are a family owned and operated company that supply the Cabinet making, Shopfitting and Building trades with custom cut to size board products and hardware.What you will be doing:Operating a beam saw to produce custom cutting pieces for customerEnsure correct product is used and correct sizing of piecesOperating a edge banding machine to apply finishing edging to piecesClean and trim pieces to ensure a quality finish is achievedOperating a forklift to assist in unloading trucks and distribution of boards within the warehouseAt our Hallam branch you will be joining a team of 5 others to ensure the smooth running of distribution to the building trades, this team has seen steady growth over the years and your ability to work in a small team will be critical in ensuring continued growth.Skills required for the role:Ability to operate a beam saw and an edge banding machineForklift licence, preferred but not essentialFor the successful applicant Allboard Distributors are offering an attractive salary, staff discounts, annual bonus, EAP services, great work environment, accredited training and opportunity for wide-ranging roles or progression within the company.
