We grow, process and distribute a wide variety of fresh produce - including salad, vegetables, lettuce varieties, broccoli, carrots and sweet corn.
Our business has operations in Bairnsdale, Lindenow and the Stratford areas.We are currently looking for a self-motivated, energetic Tractor Operator / General Farm Hand to join our team.This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in producing high-quality work, and is capable of working independently.Main duties of this position:Operation of late model machinery such as tractors and implements on a wide range of cropsSpraying all crops with tractor driven sprayersFollowing the agronomists spray recommendations, with ability to accurately measure chemicals,



read labels and adhere to safety data sheetsSlashing and mowingPrecision seeding and plantingBoom spraying (training available for the right applicant if required)General cultivation and field preparationEquipment servicing and basic maintenanceGeneral farm duties as requiredMaintain accurate records of works carried out via cloud based softwareEnsure OH&S; compliance in machinery operation and storageRequirements for this position:Experience in tractor/machinery operationsWillingness to engage in all kinds of tractor operationsAbility to understand, measure and be able to calculate general mathWillingness to undertake training to obtain a chemical certificateAbility to work flexible hoursThis position is full time employment.Riviera Farms offers a safe working environment with excellent workplace conditions, opportunities for training, development, and progression within the business.
