Universal Fans is seeking an experienced Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our team in Dandenong South.
This is a hands‐on operational leadership role supporting the day‐to‐day management of our warehouse and distribution centre.
Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, you'll help coordinate warehouse operations, inventory control and the receipt of approx.
~60 import containers each year.
A key part of the role involves planning container arrivals, warehouse space, labour requirements and stock receipting to ensure products are received accurately and efficiently.
We're looking for an organised, process‐driven professional who is confident with systems, takes ownership and can be relied upon to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations & Leadership Support the day-to-day management of warehouse operations.
Coordinate workflow, labour allocation and operational priorities.
Lead warehouse operations in the Warehouse Manager's absence.
Identify and implement process improvements.
Coordinate the receipt of approx.
~60 import containers annually.
Plan warehouse space, stock locations and labour requirements.
Liaise with freight providers to schedule deliveries.
Ensure products, dimensions and stock data are accurate within company systems.
Oversee unloading,



receipting, putaway and inventory accuracy.
Team & Safety Lead, train and support warehouse staff.
Assist with rostering and performance management.
Maintain a safe, clean and organised workplace.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and OH&S; requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Purchasing, Customer Service, Sales and Product teams.
Assist with new product introductions and operational initiatives.
Provide reporting and operational updates to management.
About You We're looking for a hands‐on leader who enjoys developing people and improving operations.
Ideally, you'll have: 3+ years' experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role.
Current Forklift Licence (essential).
Strong computer and system skills.
Excellent organisation, planning and problem‐solving ability.
Experience coordinating inbound freight, inventory and warehouse operations.
Able to manage competing priorities and remain calm under pressure.
