The team also likes to have fun at work.Our bistro can seat 600 guests and we also have a function room for ******* guests, so this venue is very busy and quick paced.Qualifications & ExperienceExperience as a Chef is requiredExperience in all sections including larder, fryers,



pans and grillAbility to work well under pressure and with high volumesUnderstanding of stock control and waste minimisationKnowledge of all kitchen procedures, food handling and workplace safetyFood safety certificateTasks & responsibilitiesSet up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipmentStudy each recipe and gather all necessary ingredientsCooking of all sections, including grill, pans, fryers and larderEnsure appealing plate presentationSlightly modify recipes to meet customers' needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove dairy)Monitor food stock and place ordersCheck freshness of food and discard out-of-date itemsExperiment with recipes and suggest current ingredientsEnsure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen areaThis role will involve day, night and weekend work.482
