The Sr.
Associate, Mechatronics Design Engineering, is primarily responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing mechatronic systems by integrating mechanical, electrical, and software components.
You will analyze data, refine control algorithms, and support automation and intelligent systems development.
Specifics include:Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot system performance issuesEnsure compliance with technical and regulatory standards,



including GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Maintain accurate and complete documentation and ensure rigorous quality controlComplete all required training and meet individual job requirements to contribute to overall organizational complianceCommit to continuous improvement in operationsExperience:Bachelor degree in Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related field Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field).
MTO (small to medium) experience in theoptical industry is ideal but not essential5 years' experience in designing high precision, automated production equipment.
Must have hands-on building experience.Proficient in SolidWorks (must have) and PDM (preferred); GD&T; and engineering drawing competency.Accountability and ownership up to and including post transfer.Automation Engineersor Industrial Automation Engineers background, or Mechatronics backgroundis considered highly beneficial.Commitment to compliance, safety, and continuous improvement.Robust communication and ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentNo visa sponsorship/relocation will be provided for this role.Why Join Alcon/Cylite?
