This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our sales operations.
As a Window Furnishings Consultant, you will be the key point of contact for our customers, guiding them through our extensive range of window furnishings products and helping them make informed decisions that meet their needs, style preferences and budgets.
This role is fundamental to our business success, as you will be responsible for converting customer enquiries into sales whilst building long-term relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.Key responsibilitiesGreet customers and conduct thorough consultations to understand their window furnishings requirements, aesthetic preferences and budget constraintsPresent and demonstrate a wide range of window furnishings products including all manner of internal window furnishings , external awnings such as Zip screens and Folding arm awnings and other bespoke solutionsProvide expert advice on product features, benefits, materials, colours, styles,



and installation optionsPrepare accurate quotes and pricing proposals for customersFollow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and manage any concerns or complaints professionallyMaintain detailed records of customer interactions, preferences and purchase historyAchieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicatorsStay up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends and competitor offeringsCollaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and share knowledge with colleaguesWhat we're looking forProven experience in sales within the home furnishings, interior design industries.Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build rapport with customersDemonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIsStrong organisational skills with attention to detail in order processing and documentationProduct knowledge or the ability to quickly learn about window furnishings products and featuresCustomer service excellence and a genuine passion for helping clients find solutionsProficiency with computer systems and point-of-sale softwareProfessional appearance and demeanourAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamA valid driver's licence is advantageousWhat we offerTip Top Blinds (Vic) P/L is committed to supporting the professional development and wellbeing of our team members.
