We are Australia's largest company in this sector, providing essential services to millions of customers and communities nationally.The OpportunityThe Regional Engineer is responsible for managing projects and maintaining systems and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations across a defined region.
This dual role is critical to driving operational efficiency, minimising downtime, and supporting strategic business outcomes.Working closely with Health and Oils and Technical Services teams, you will help ensure waste is processed safely and efficiently while contributing to capital projects and key operational decisions.We're hiring for two exciting fixed-term contract roles, available for 6 or 8 months with flexible locations based in Silverwater or Sydney CBD.What you will doIn this role, you'll own technical performance across operations, applying hands-on expertise to enhance safety, efficiency, and reliability.
You'll translate data and insights into practical actions that drive real business outcomes.You will play a key role in engineering, maintenance, and project delivery by:Partnering with Operations to understand business needs and deliver optimal asset solutionsDiagnosing and resolving equipment faults to minimise operational disruptionsDeveloping asset lifecycle, investment, and risk management strategiesMonitoring asset performance to ensure reliability, compliance, and integrityDelivering projects and maintenance safely, on time, within budget,



and to quality standardsDriving sustainability, innovation, and continuous improvement across engineering practicesManaging project and maintenance costs with strong financial accountabilityAbout YouYou are a technically strong, solutions-focused chemical engineer who thrives in complex, process-driven environments.
