Our growing Sydney office presents an opportunity to work with a more close-knit team of approximately 5, while retaining access to, and ability to work with, the broader firm.The OpportunityWe are looking for a motivated Construction Lawyer with approximately 1-3 years PAE to join our Sydney-based construction and major projects team.
This role will suit a lawyer who enjoys a mix of front-end construction contracting, security of payment work and construction disputes, and who wants hands‐on mentoring from experienced practitioners.What You Will Work OnFront-end construction contract review, advice, negotiation and drafting.Advising on rights and obligations under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act ****.Assisting with the preparation of adjudication applications, responses and supporting materials.Drafting pleadings, affidavits and correspondence for litigated construction claims.Briefing and liaising with technical construction industry experts.Supporting clients with contract administration, project issues, claims management and dispute strategy.Delegating to,
