Clinical Lead – Headspace Northern NSW | Accommodation ProvidedCuramoir Healthcare Recruitment – Taree NSWCasual/Temporary2mo ago , from Curamoir Healthcare RecruitmentHourly rate of $***** - $****** per hour inc casual loading + super (depending on experience)Subsidised accommodation providedOpportunity to lead an established multidisciplinary youth mental health teamWork within a nationally recognised headspace serviceMeaningful role supporting young people, families and community wellbeingThe RoleReporting to the Centre Manager, you will provide clinical leadership and operational oversight across a busy headspace service.
You will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based mental health care for young people aged ***** years while supporting clinicians, managing service demand and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Key responsibilitiesProviding clinical leadership, consultation and support to multidisciplinary clinicians and allied health professionalsLeading clinical review meetings, case discussions and clinical governance activitiesManaging referrals, service demand, waitlists and client flow to ensure timely access to careProviding formal and informal supervision, mentoring and professional development to clinical staffSupporting evidence-based interventions including CBT, ACT, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and psychoeducation approachesMonitoring clinical quality, risk management and compliance with relevant governance frameworksBuilding and maintaining solid relationships with community providers,



consortium partners and external stakeholdersSupporting service development, health promotion initiatives and integrated care pathways for young people and familiesContributing to strategic planning, reporting requirements and continuous quality improvement activitiesMaintaining a small clinical caseload during periods of increased service demand where requiredAbout YouTo be successful, you will possess:Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing or a related disciplineCurrent AHPRA registration or eligibility for membership with AASW or relevant professional bodyDemonstrated leadership experience within youth, mental health or community health settingsStrong clinical assessment, intervention and risk management skills working with young people and familiesExperience providing clinical supervision, mentoring and support to multidisciplinary teamsSound understanding of clinical governance, quality improvement and mental health service delivery frameworksExperience managing competing priorities, service demand and workforce coordinationStrong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skillsUnderstanding of culturally safe practice and social and emotional wellbeing principles, particularly for First Nations communitiesCurrent Driver's Licence, Working with Children Check, National Police Check and First Aid/CPR certificationThis opportunity would suit an experienced clinician looking to step into a leadership-focused contract role while making a genuine impact on youth mental health outcomes within a regional community.
