About the Role

You’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of the equipment hire business, ensuring equipment availability, deliveries, collections, scheduling, and customer requirements are managed effectively.

What You’ll Be Doing
Manage daily operations of the equipment hire business
Coordinate equipment deliveries, collections, and logistics
Lead and support drivers, yard staff, and operational teams
Manage scheduling, job allocation, and resource planning




Ensure efficient equipment movements and fleet availability
Support safety compliance and operational standards
Be hands-on and support the team when required

About You

You’re an experienced operations qualified who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading from the front. Ideally, you’ll have:
Experience in equipment hire, construction, transport, logistics, or similar industries
Strong leadership, people management skills and a team player
Experience coordinating schedules, resources, and daily operations
A practical, hands-on approach with robust problem-solving ability
