When you join our Team, you will have the opportunity to contribute and make an impact every single day.This role is based in our Sydney office with Hybrid working arrangement.Role PurposeNote: This is a 12-month fixed-term position covering an existing team member's maternity leave, working 4 days per week.The HR Business Partner holds the primary strategic and tactical HR relationship with assigned client groups.
He/she aligns and drives key HR polices, programs and processes to support the execution of business goals.
The HR Business Partner promotes best practice in people management; drives a high-performance culture and outstanding employee experience.Key Responsibilities:Client CoverageAct as key focal point for client group on all HR matters - providing expert strategic and operational HR advice and guidanceIdentify key business challenges across client groups and provide pragmatic HR solutionsAct as a sounding board to client group managers/leaders and provide professional advice and coachingPromote best practice in people and talent managementWork within established Company policies and procedures and help business interpret and apply these appropriatelyOptimise the customer experience by offering full resolution of issues on first contact where possibleHR TransformationHelp implement and shape the HR Transformation Plan and lead the delivery of special projects identified within the PlanDrive change within client groups and embed new HR solutionsLiaison with the wider HR team to share ideas, best practice and contribute towards driving the HR Transformation planEnsure innovation and continuous improvement of HR systems, processes, and policiesMonitor KPIs within client group such as attrition, sickness, employee engagement and ensure remedial action taken where necessaryTalent ManagementAlign and drive talent management strategies within client groups for attraction, recruitment, HiPo identification, development, recognition, and retentionWork proactively within client groups on succession planning for critical rolesPromote equality and diversity as part of the culture where equality thrives in both opportunities and outcomesEnsure the onboarding programme properly welcomes and integrates new employeesEnsure L&D; initiatives within client groups enhance employee skills in line with their business needs and achievement of their objectivesDelivering development workshops for client groups as requiredPartner with the business to proactively resolve individual performance issues, advising and coaching them into appropriate solutions and improvementsTake HR lead within client group for driving employee engagement strategiesInterpret talent analytics within client groups and share insights with leaders to enhance their understanding of people issuesEmployee RelationsAdvise and coach managers/leaders with client groups and work with them to deal effectively with employee relations issues considering best practice, legislative framework, and commercial outcomeTake HR leadership for disciplinary, performance and grievance processes within client groupsResourcingProactively partner with client groups on headcount plans and ensuring appropriate approvals are in placeReview recruitment efforts,



and partner with Talent Acquisition Manager to ensure client groups attract high-quality candidatesParticipate in selection activities to help ensure the right calibre of candidates are hiredReward and CompensationWork collaboratively with managers during the annual compensation processesAdvise managers to ensure appropriate compensation decisions are made based upon performance, parity of awards, promotion etcLiaise with Payroll to ensure monthly payroll accuracy for client groupsOperational ExcellenceOversee the operation of best practice administration, processes, and procedures within client groupsEnsure the sickness and absence policies are adhered to and that absences are correctly recorded, and action taken where appropriateConduct exit interviews, analyse data trends, and share insightsApproval of recruiting invoice for client groupSupport the general improvement of all HR data through proactive cleansing and maintenanceExperience:Experience of developing and embedding people-focused strategies to help deliver business objectivesBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with key business stakeholdersKnowledge:CIPD qualified or equivalent qualificationExtensive knowledge of Australian Employment lawUp-to-date knowledge of best practice HR trends and people management techniquesTalent management strategiesProject & change management initiativesUnderstands relationship between HR initiatives and business driversWhat we offer:A genuine commitment to smarter working – we recognise your work/life balance mattersCompetitive base salary & yearly bonusesLeave Benefits - Paid Parental, Service, Wellbeing & Birthday leaveEmployee Assistance Program - SONDEREmployee Health and Wellbeing Platform - WHEREFITPersonal development and coaching opportunities.EV Salary Packaging BenefitDiversity:Celebrating our inclusive and diverse culture is core to what we do.
