This Facilities Manager role offers the chance to manage a well‐defined portfolio of social infrastructure assets across Melbourne, supporting facilities that are relied upon every day and built for long‐term service.
Working in partnership with IFM Investors, you'll focus on keeping sites safe, compliant, and operating smoothly, while building trusted relationships with occupiers, operators and service partners.
This is a practical, grounded FM role, ideal for someone who enjoys steady operations, clear structure and the satisfaction of doing things properly.
What you'll be doing
Managing day‐to‐day facilities operations across a portfolio of social infrastructure assetsCoordinating planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activitiesManaging contractors and service providers, with a strong emphasis on safety and performanceEnsuring compliance with statutory, safety and governance requirementsConducting regular site inspections and addressing operational issues proactivelySupporting sustainability, ESG and resilience initiatives where appropriateMonitoring operating budgets and assisting with forecasts and reportingActing as a key point of contact for occupiers,



operators and stakeholdersWorking closely with IFM Investors and internal support teams to maintain asset standards
About you
Experience in facilities management across commercial, infrastructure, government or public‐facing environmentsSound understanding of compliance, safety and risk managementPractical knowledge of building services and day‐to‐day asset operationsComfortable working with contractors and multiple stakeholder groupsOrganised, proactive and able to manage competing prioritiesA steady, professional approach with pride in running well‐managed sites
