6-Month Contract | Strong Opportunity to Convert to PermanentWe're looking for an experienced Hosting Specialist to join a large, complex technology environment and support the reliability, security and ongoing improvement of its hybrid cloud infrastructure.This is a hands‐on role spanning Azure and on-premises platforms, suited to someone comfortable working across compute, virtualisation, storage, operating systems and automation.
You'll help maintain stable day-to-day operations while contributing to platform improvements, security uplift and greater automation.What you'll be doingHosting Specialist - Hybrid CloudSupporting and maintaining hybrid infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and on-premises environmentsManaging VMware virtualisation platforms, including NSX networkingAdministering enterprise compute and storage infrastructureSupporting Windows and Linux server environments, ideally including Red Hat Enterprise LinuxMonitoring platform availability, capacity, performance and securityTroubleshooting complex infrastructure issues across multiple technology layersAutomating operational tasks using PowerShell, Python and/or BashSupporting patching, vulnerability remediation and infrastructure lifecycle activitiesContributing to technical documentation, operational standards and continuous improvementWorking closely with cloud, network,



security and application teamsWhat we're looking forStrong experience supporting enterprise hosting or infrastructure environmentsHands‐on experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud platformsStrong VMware experience, with exposure to NSX highly regardedKnowledge of enterprise storage and compute technologiesAdministration experience across both Windows and Linux, with RHEL preferredScripting or automation skills using PowerShell, Python or BashA security‐first mindset, with an understanding of patching, hardening, vulnerability management and access controlsStrong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work across complex technical environmentsClear communication skills and a collaborative approachWhy consider this opportunity?
