About the Opportunities
Kurrajong have multiple exciting Supported Employment opportunities for Kitchen Assistants to join our Catering Services Team in our brand-new kitchen in Wagga Wagga.
These roles are designed for people living with a disability and who have a current NDIS plan.
These opportunities are designed to help individuals build skills, confidence, and independence while working in a friendly, structured, and well supported workplace.
The Kitchen Assistant's responsibilities will include:
Monitor and store kitchen items and learn where to order replacements from
Follow supervisor's instructions for recipes, food preparation tasks, and cleaning
Follow all health and safety rules, including keeping hands clean and using equipment safely
Keeping the kitchen and equipment clean
Washing and folding tea towels
Kurrajong will provide:
Training and further development opportunities
Information for families and potential candidates to learn more before applying

Supervision and mentoring from experienced staff who understand diverse learning styles
