About the company/role:Ingredient supplierBased in the Western suburbs of MelbourneSeeking a self-motivated Sales Assistant to join the teamPermanent opportunityFulltime hours, normal business hoursOpportunity to progress into a Sales career pathwayDuties include, but not limited to:Manage order to delivery for both sales and purchase ordersProcess sales orders, issue confirmation to customersForecastand generate purchase ordersPrepare order and shipping documents, circulate as necessaryFreight management, including requestquotations, processbookings and delivery trackingManage customer queriesAssist with enquiries, phone calls and emails,



parcel delivery/pickupand maintain updated customer and supplier detailsPreparation of samples and documentation to customers (national and international)Monitor customer orders to meet expected delivery schedules, liaising with the production team for order fulfilment.Generate monthly sales reportsOrder and keep organised sample stock and ingredientsAssist with maintenance of R&D; records, Office 365 and company filesSkills/experience:Minimum 1-2 years experience in Sales, Customer Service, Account Management or similarPrior experience using Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of GMP and HACCP (highly advantageous)Robust written and oral communication skillsQuick learner, proactive and organised with high attention to detail
