Swan Hill Rural City Council – Swan Hill VICPermanent Part-Time | 22.8hours per week | Flexible DaysWe arelooking for a motivated and organised Properties Officer to support themanagement of Council's property portfolio.You will playan important role in administering Council leases, licences, landownerconsents, property agreements, and land transactions.
You will work closelywith tenants, landowners, community members, and Council staff to ensureproperty matters are managed efficiently and in line with legislative andCouncil requirements.About the roleIn this role, you will:Prepare andadminister lease and licence agreements for Council facilities.Act as the main point of contact for Council tenants and property-related enquiries.Maintainproperty records, registers, databases, and documentation.Coordinaterent reviews and ensure lease payments are managed accurately.AdministerCouncil's Landowner Consent process.Assist withproperty acquisitions, disposals, and other land transactions.Provideadministrative support for Council's Tower Hill Development.Supportbudget preparation and general administration within the Procurement andProperties Unit.Manageafter-hours alarm codes and security access arrangements.About youTertiary Qualificationsin property, real estate, legal studies, or a related field,
or equivalentexperience.Experience inproperty administration, property management, or a similar role.Strongadministrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.Well-developedcommunication and customer service skills.The abilityto manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.Proficiencyin Microsoft Office applications.A currentDriver Licence.Note: ANational Police Check will be conducted on the preferred applicant.This is agreat opportunity to build your career in property management whilecontributing to projects and services that support our community.
