Find your future with us.Location: TownsvilleCategory: Trade / OperationsPosition Type: TemporaryJob Reference: BOE/*******Attachments: No File AttachedCert IV Aeroskills (Avionics) Apprentice - Chinook Integrated Support ServicesThis is a unique opportunity for individuals who have already completed the theory component of a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics) and are looking to gain the practical workplace experience required to complete your qualification while working on the Australian Army's fleet of CH47F helicopters.Working alongside experienced aviation maintenance professionals, you will develop the technical skills, discipline and experience required to build a long-term career in military aviation maintenance.About the RoleAs an Aeroskills Apprentice, you will undertake structured workplace training and practical experience across a range of aircraft maintenance environments while completing the practical requirements of your apprenticeship.You will be exposed to:Flightline and operational maintenance activitiesScheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenanceAircraft inspections and deeper maintenance servicingComponent removal, installation and testingFault diagnosis and rectificationTechnical documentation and maintenance recordingAirworthiness, safety and quality management systemsDefence aviation maintenance practicesTeam-based maintenance operations supporting aircraft availability and mission readiness, this can include deploying away in support of ADF exercises.Essential RequirementsTo be considered for this opportunity,
