We are seeking a Master Data Specialist – Governance to join our Asset & Materials Management Process, Systems & Assurance team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of our enterprise data.
You will be responsible for managing master data processes, maintaining data quality, and supporting governance initiatives to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management: Maintain, update, and validate master data across multiple systems, ensuring compliance with data governance standardsGovernance & Compliance: Support the implementation of master data policies, ensuring alignment with business rules, architecture and regulatory requirementsQuality & Integrity: Monitor data quality, perform audits, and resolve discrepancies to enhance data accuracy and consistencyCollaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations, to ensure seamless data integration and adherence to governance frameworksProcess Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance data management processes, drive automation, and implement best practices for efficiencyIssue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner, acting as a key contact for master data inquiriesReporting & Insights:



Generate reports and insights from master data to support business decision-making and strategic initiatives
Qualifications And Experience
Experience in master data management (MDM), data governance, or a similar roleStrong knowledge of data governance principles, policies, and best practices in miningProficiency in SAP and data management toolsAnalytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple departments and drive data governance initiativesStrong communication skills to convey complex data issues in an understandable mannerExperience with data quality frameworks, validation techniques, and automation tools is a plus
