We are committed to creating enriching work environments, encouraging professional growth and maintaining the highest standards of child safety.About the RoleOpened in **** and co-located with Murrum Primary School, Early Learning Victoria Murrum (meaning the body) is a 130-place centre located in Weir Views offering long day care and Three-Year-Old Kindergarten and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten programs.Early Learning Victoria is approved to receive the Commonwealth's Worker Retention Grant, which funds a 15% wage increase above modern award rates for eligible employees.In this role, you will:Support the team to deliver high-quality early childhood education guided by evidence-informed, contemporary pedagogy and practiceContribute to and assist in the planning and implementation of the educational program, aligned with the National Quality Standards, Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and National Education and Care Law and RegulationsMonitor children's progress and support their social, emotional and cognitive developmentBuild respectful, collaborative relationships with families, children and colleagues, ensuring all children feel safe and valuedThe position description for Diploma qualified applicants for this role can be found HEREThe position description for Certificate III qualified applicants for this role can be found HEREAbout YouExperience as an early childhood educator (Diploma or Certificate III),
delivering a high-quality play-based educational program (recently qualified candidates are welcome to apply)Sound understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, Education Care Services National Law and Regulations, the National Quality Framework and Child Safe StandardsEffective communication and relationship-building skills with staff, children, families and communitiesExperience working with children and families experiencing vulnerability is desirableQualifications and ExperienceACECQA approved Diploma / Certificate III level qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care, or actively working towards completionValid Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications; completion of Protecting Children - Mandatory Reporting online learningAgreement to a police check; an international police check must be provided for candidates who have resided outside of Australia for 12+ months in the last 10 yearsFood Safety Supervisor CertificateSafe Sleep Training is desirableApplications close 11:59pm on Tuesday 11 August ****.ELV is a child-safe organisation committed to creating environments where children are protected, valued, and respected.
