You'll have the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and contribute across the full project lifecycle from design and programming through to commissioning and ongoing support.
About the RoleAs a Control Systems Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering automation solutions across the full project lifecycle, from concept and design through to commissioning and operational support.Depending on your experience and project allocation, you'll have the opportunity to work across:Major mining and resource projectsRenewable energy developmentsIndustrial processing facilitiesInfrastructure and heavy industry projectsInterstate and international project opportunities
You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, site personnel, and clients to deliver high-quality control systems that improve safety, reliability, and operational performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop industrial control systemsPLC and SCADA programming, configuration, and testingFunctional Design Specifications (FDS) and documentationFactory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)Site commissioning and start-up supportFault finding, optimisation, and system improvementsClient engagement and technical support throughout project deliveryEnsure compliance with relevant Australian standards and client specifications




About YouWe're looking for engineers who are passionate about automation and enjoy solving complex technical challenges.
EssentialExperience with PLC and SCADA systemsControl systems design and commissioning experienceStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work across both office-based engineering and site environmentsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsAustralian working rights
Highly RegardedExperience within mining, resources, energy, or heavy industrial environmentsExposure to major automation platforms such as Siemens, Schneider Electric, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, GE, Ignition, Citect, AVEVA, or similarExperience working on brownfield operational sitesCommissioning experience across multidisciplinary project teams
