Medimart Group Pty Ltd is seeking a
Delivery Driver
to join our team on a
casual basis
.
This is a vital position within our courier, driver and postal operations, based in
Welland, SA ****
.
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe, timely and skilled delivery of packages and equipment to customers across the SA.
This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for reliable service and customer satisfaction.
The casual nature of this position offers flexibility whilst providing the opportunity to be part of a dynamic logistics team.
Key responsibilities
Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport parcels and packages to customer destinations
Deliver, remove and set up medical equipment such as wheelchairs and recliners
Navigate routes efficiently using GPS and route planning systems to optimise delivery times
Load, unload and secure packages in the delivery vehicle in accordance with safety procedures
Obtain customer signatures and handle payment collection where applicable
Maintain accurate delivery records and update tracking information in real time
Conduct pre-drive and post-drive vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition
Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with recipients and addressing any delivery concerns
Comply with all road traffic laws, speed limits and safety regulations
Report any vehicle defects, accidents or incidents to management immediately




Handle customer enquiries regarding deliveries courteously and professionally
What we're looking for
A valid, current Australian driver's licence with a clean driving record
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar courier or logistics role
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws
Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently
Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and mobile delivery tracking applications
Physical capability to lift, carry and load parcels safely (up to 25 kg regularly)
Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to meeting delivery schedules
Outstanding customer service skills and a professional demeanour
A proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and safety
