We're hiring experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters
Ellico Group is growing and we're recruiting experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters across multiple Bowen Basin operations.
Right now we're looking for two key groups of tradespeople:
Dragline Fitters
with proven dragline maintenance experience, and
Heavy Diesel Fitters
looking for ongoing opportunities across a range of mine sites and equipment.
These are genuine vacancies with confirmed work and immediate starts available.
Dragline Fitters
We have multiple Dragline Fitter positions available supporting a major Bowen Basin operation.
If you've got solid hands-on experience maintaining, fault-finding and repairing dragline equipment, we'd like to hear from you.
These are long-term opportunities backed by strong client relationships and consistent work.
We're looking for people who know draglines inside and out and can hit the ground running.
Heavy Diesel Fitters
We're also expanding our team of experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to support our growing portfolio of Bowen Basin mine site contracts.
We have a mix of ongoing 7/7 rostered positions, site-based roles and versatile opportunities across multiple operations, giving you access to consistent work while offering variety throughout your career.
Whether you're looking to settle into a regular roster or enjoy working across different sites and equipment, we'd like to have a conversation.

What we need from you
• Certificate III trade qualification relevant to your trade
• Minimum two years' experience in mining or heavy industry
• Current QLD Coal Board Medical and Standard 11
• Valid Australian driver's licence
• High Risk Work Licences such as Working at Heights, EWP and Dogging are
highly regarded
• Experience working on CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr or similar mining equipment
