Legal Receptionist / Legal Assistant
This is an excellent opportunity to step into a front-facing role within a well-established family Law firm.
This position would suit someone who enjoys engaging with clients, works well in a fast-paced setting, and is eager to develop a long-term career in the legal sector.
About the Role
As the first point of contact, you will be integral to the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a high standard of client service is consistently delivered.
Your duties will include:
Greeting clients and maintaining a professional front-of-house presence
Handling incoming calls and responding to email enquiries
Managing calendars and coordinating appointments
Booking barristers and liaising with external stakeholders
Conducting client follow-ups and preparing correspondenceMaintaining accurate data entry and file records
Assisting with billing and general administrative support
Monitoring and ordering office supplies
Providing additional administrative assistance to the legal team as required
About You
You will be a motivated and well-organised individual who presents professionally and enjoys working as part of a team.
Ideally, you will have:
Previous experience in a legal reception or skilled services role
Robust written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management and organisational abilities
A warm, professional approach when interacting with clients
A proactive attitude with a willingness to support others
Excellent attention to detail
Solid IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
