The Chance
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Site Manager to join our growing team for a multi-year Federal Government Project.
This role is suited to someone with a strong background in commercial construction who thrives on delivering complex, high-performance projects in energetic environments.
Key Responsibilities
Managing and coordinating day-to-day site operations,
Ensuring works are completed in line with project programs, budgets and specifications,
Supervising subcontractors and site personnel to maintain productivity and quality,
Monitoring and enforcing work health and safety requirements on site,
Ensuring site presentation, cleanliness and compliance with statutory requirements,
Coordinating plant, materials and resources to meet project timelines,
Supporting procurement and subcontractor engagement processes,
Communicating effectively with Project Managers, Subcontractors and stakeholders,
Identifying and reporting variations, risks and project issues,
Assisting with progress claims,



site records and project documentation,
Conducting site meetings, toolbox talks and safety briefings,
Maintaining strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
About You
Minimum
10 year's experience
in commercial site management within the construction industry,
Proven track record managing commercial projects of varying complexity,
Strong leadership and organisational skills with a hands-on approach,
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities,
Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and quality outcomes,
Certificate or qualification in Construction or a related field (preferred),
Relevant certifications (White Card, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness and Silica).
