The Chance
We're seeking a
Quality Assurance Officer
to join our Balcatta headquarters.
This is a pivotal role, reporting directly to the Executive Team and working closely with cross-functional teams to embed a culture of quality and compliance.
You'll be supported by a QA team member and play a key role in ISO ****, ISO *****, and NATA compliance, as well as business improvement projects.
What You'll Bring
Quality Background
– Solid experience in QA roles
QMS & Auditing
– ISO ****, ISO ***** and ISO ***** knowledge
Certifications
– Lean or Six Sigma credentials valued
Compliance Knowledge
– Familiar with AU/NZ standards and regulations
QMS Tools
– Skilled in QMS platforms and root cause analysis
Leadership
– Able to coach and build a quality-first culture
Analytical Skills
– Comfortable with data, KPIs, and problem-solving
Communication
– Strong writing and verbal communication skills
Detail & Strategy




– Balances detail with strategic thinking
Key Responsibilities
ISO Compliance
– Maintain ISO ****, ISO *****, and NATA standards
Auditing
– Lead internal audits and support external ones
Issue Management
– Handle non-conformances and OFIs
Documentation
– Manage QA records, updates, and reports
Team Support
– Mentor a QA team member
Awareness
– Promote QA culture across the business
Improvement Projects
– Support QA aspects of business initiatives
Strategic Oversight
– Guide accreditation and regulatory compliance
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
Certificate IV/Diploma in Quality, Business, or equivalent experience
ISO **** Lead/Internal Auditor certification
3–5 years' experience with ISO ****
Strong background in document control and compliance
Experience with QA/QMS software platforms
Desirable
ISO ***** auditor training
Lean/Six Sigma credentials
Familiarity with SharePoint/Intranet and risk/incident tools
Strong analytical and root cause analysis capabilities
