Chef – Full-Time Position Trattoria Ilaria – North Perth, WA **** Trattoria Ilaria is a traditional Italian restaurant located in the heart of North Perth, offering an authentic and classic Italian dining experience.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Full-Time Chef to join our kitchen team.
The successful candidate will have a passion for Italian cuisine, strong culinary skills, and the ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
Position: Chef Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: North Perth, WA **** Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to recipes and established presentation standards.
Assist with menu planning and updates, including consideration of seasonal ingredients, customer preferences, and dietary requirements.
Manage food preparation activities, including ingredient selection, portion control, and kitchen organisation.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies,



and ensure all ingredients are fresh and meet quality standards.
Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, including cooks and kitchen assistants, to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Maintain consistent food quality, taste, and presentation while ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Control food costs, minimise wastage, and assist with maintaining kitchen budgets.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff by sharing cooking techniques and best practices.
Communicate with customers when required to receive feedback and ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organisation, and ensure all equipment is operating effectively.
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and proper sanitation practices.
Skills and Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
Experience with Italian cuisine or a similar style of dining is highly desirable.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant workplace.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to food quality and presentation.
