About the role...
In this collaborative and supportive role, you'll apply your passion for back-of-house business operations.
It involves working with a team to support a dynamic and diverse group of clients across a range of industries.
Each day, you will apply your experience working on bookkeeping, payroll, compliance, and business administration support.
You will be comfortable connecting with clients to get their day-to-day business administration done.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high levels of customer service either via phone/email and in client meetings.
Manage and look after a portfolio of clients, servicing them in all areas of bookkeeping including AR, AP, reconciliations, GL reviews, extensive payroll support (including Super, LSL, STP reporting, payroll tax reporting etc), IAS, BAS, TPAR, EOFY processes.
Form good working relationships within our team and have leadership potential.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for an
EXPERIENCED
bookkeeper and business administration professional to join our growing team.
Fast learner who can apply knowledge to different contexts.
'Can do' attitude and problem-solving ability.
Awesome communication skills.
Proven experience working in a team, with the ability to motivate and guide individuals towards achieved shared goals.
Sound technical skills using MYOB/Xero
Understanding of relevant Australian GST, PAYG and NES legislation
Intermediate skills in with Microsoft products
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage clients
Cert IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting or relevant tertiary degree (desirable)
Must have current Australian work authorisation at the time of application
Location
We're based in Mitchell (free parking!!!) and we also work on site at various locations around Canberra.
Hours
Flexible.
We have both
full time and part time
roles available.

Payrate
Payrates will be individually negotiated based on hours of work offered, level of experience and qualifications.
