We are embarking on an exciting transition to an in-house housekeeping operation and are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Housekeeper to lead this journey.Reporting directly to the General Manager, this is a rare opportunity to establish systems, recruit and develop a team, and create a culture focused on quality, teamwork and exceptional guest experiences.About the RoleAs Executive Housekeeper, you will have overall responsibility for housekeeping operations across the hotel.
More importantly, you will play a key role in building and shaping the department, with the support of the General Manager and Owners.This role will suit someone who enjoys creating processes, mentoring people and taking ownership of standards and culture.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruit, onboard and develop a high-performing housekeeping teamEstablish systems, procedures and quality standards for the departmentLead, coach and motivate the team to deliver exceptional guest experiencesManage daily room allocations and productivity, ensuring adequate daily staffing levelsEnsure apartments and public areas are maintained to the highest standardsConduct room inspections and oversee room release processesPrepare rosters and manage labour costsMonitor linen,



amenities and cleaning suppliesWork closely with Front Office and Management teams to ensure seamless operationsDrive continuous improvement and foster a positive team cultureEnsure all housekeeping activities comply with WHS and company policiesAbout YouYou are an experienced housekeeping leader who thrives on developing people and creating systems that set teams up for success.You will ideally have:Previous experience as an Executive Housekeeper, Housekeeping Manager or Assistant Executive HousekeeperExperience leading teams within hotels, serviced apartments or accommodation environmentsA proven ability to recruit, train and develop teamsStrong organisational and communication skillsHigh attention to detail and a commitment to qualityExperience managing rosters, stock control and labour costsA hands-on leadership style and willingness to support the team operationally when requiredMust be available Monday - FridayFull working rights in AustraliaWhy Join Quest St Kilda Road?
