Backed by a modern fleet of over 30 vehicles and a team of professional drivers, we are committed to delivering products safely, efficiently and on time.About the roleOur Transport team are seeking an experienced Weighbridge Operator who will be responsible for the effective and compliant operation of the weighbridge and supporting administrative and transport coordination functions.
This role plays a key part in ensuring trucks and other vehicles are processed accurately, customer interactions are handled professionally and ensures transport activities are well coordinated to meet delivery requirements of our customers.Your main responsibilities will include:Weighbridge Operations & AdministrationProcessing incoming and outgoing vehicles and recording accurate weightsManaging customer enquiries,



site communications and general administrationPreparing and issuing driver dockets and sales documentationProcessing cash and EFTPOS transactionsCoordinating truck movements and directing drivers on siteCommunicating with site personnel to ensure correct product allocation and loadingMaintaining accurate documentation in line with company and legislative requirementsProducing reports and completing general administrative tasksTransport Coordination Support:Assisting with the scheduling of company and subcontractor vehiclesLiaising with drivers to support on-time delivery of productsSupporting documentation review including timesheets and daily recordsAssisting with incident reporting and performance trackingAccurately using internal systems for scheduling and record keepingKey Selection Criteria:The successful candidate will demonstrate:Experience in a customer-focused or administrative roleExposure to transport, logistics, quarrying or similar industries (desirable)High attention to detail and accuracyStrong organisational and multitasking skillsAbility to work under direction while using initiativeStrong communication and interpersonal skillsSafety-conscious approach and strong work ethicWillingness to learn transport compliance and coordination processesEducation, Certification and Licenses required:Why work for ASQ?
