About the Role

We're after an enthusiastic Kitchen Hand who takes pride in keeping the kitchen running smoothly. You'll play a key role in supporting our chefs, maintaining a clean and protected kitchen, and helping ensure our stock is always fresh and well organised.

Key Responsibilities
Receiving, checking, and rotating stock deliveries to maintain freshness and minimise waste
Maintaining a clean, organised, and protected kitchen environment at all times
Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently during service
Assisting chefs with basic food preparation as required
Managing time effectively to keep up with the pace of a busy kitchen




Identifying and resolving day-to-day issues quickly and calmly
Following food hygiene and safety standards at all times
Working autonomously on assigned tasks while also collaborating well within the wider kitchen team

Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience in a kitchen hand or similar role preferred
Experience receiving and rotating stock in a food service environment
Strong time management and organisational skills
Good problem-solving ability and a proactive attitude
Solid understanding of food hygiene and safety practices
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
A current Food Safety Handling certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
Availability to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends
